Auditions for FourFront Theatre’s upcoming production of The History Boys, by Alan Bennett, will be held on June 8th at 6pm in Tulane University’s McWilliams Hall. Needed are 8 males with a youthful look and a convincing British accent to play the boys, specifically one African American and one of Middle Eastern descent. The adult roles will be cast at a later date. Director Fred Nuccio is asking for a short prepared monologue as well as a reading from either WH Auden, AE Houseman, Thomas Hardy or Stevie Smith. A headshot and resume is requested. Actors will receive a small compensation. The History Boys will run Oct 17 – 26 at Southern Rep. Theater as part of Southern Rep’s City Series.
